Abstract
Objectives Upon completion of this activity, the learner will be able to: 1Describe the steps necessary to ensure accurate measurement of blood pressure in pregnancy. 2Differentiate between four types of high blood pressure problems associated with pregnancy. 3Specify how the pathophysiology of preeclampsia-eclampsia determines clinical assessment and intervention strategies for this hypertensive disorder of pregnancy. Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) Credit A total of 2 contact hours may be earned as CNE credit for reading High Blood Pressure in Pregnancy and for completing an online post-test and participant feedback form.
