Abstract

The distribution of hexavalent chromium in the weathering slag was studied, as well as the influenced factors of aqueous agent leaching chromium. Results showed an optimal leaching condition: the chromium particle size is 100– 200 mesh, the liquid-solid ratio is 20:1, the leaching time is 4h–8h. Enhanced temperature and reduced pH value are benefit to hexavalent chromium leaching. Considering the equipment corrosion of low pH, the optimal pH value is 3–4.
