Abstract
Heteropolyacids have been used as marvellous catalyst in various type of organic transformations such as oxidation/reduction and transesterification reactions etc. Many novel and exciting developments are going on in this research area attracting worldwide attention of the researcher as well as industrialists. In this review, we seek out to bring application of heteropolyacid as a catalyst in the production of biodiesel through esterification and transesterification reaction.
