Abstract
The present article summarizes data on the content of antibodies targeting heat shock proteins and the concentration of IL-1α, IL-8, IL-4, IgG, IgM, IgA, and sIgA in blood and saliva of elderly patients suffering from chronic generalized periodontitis before and after treatment of periodontal inflammation and clinical symptoms of ischemic heart disease.
