Abstract

In patients with newly diagnosed heart failure (HF), timely initiation of HF pharmacotherapeutics is imperative to arrest disease progression and reduce HF-related hospitalisation. Delays in treatment initiation however are commonplace particularly in healthcare settings with resource constraints and difficulties in establishing encounters between healthcare providers and patients. We sought to evaluate the contemporary trends in optimisation of HF therapy.
