Abstract
The difficulty of converting the requirements in an executable model and to do some kind of HW/SW concurrent engineering, leading to the “magic triplet” SW+IF+HW, this is the heart of the system design problem. In reviewing the main issues related to the system level design phase of embedded systems, we present an approach based on the Arexsys ArchiMate™ and CosiMate™ tool suite.
