Abstract
Abstract Anomalohalacarus singularis, a new species of marine Halacaridae from a sandy bottom near Leghorn (Tuscan coast, Italy) is described. Characteristic features of the species are an undivided anterior epimeral plate and in the male a large number of perigenital setae.
