Abstract
The article discusses the thematic cluster of the books prohibited at the Jesuit College in Przemysl. The prohibited books were identified and analyzed according to the hand-written inventory of the library, which was compiled in 1774 by Stanislav Khmeliovski after the order was dissolved. The total number of books in the library is 6985. The “Haeretici prohibiti” cluster includes 137 books, 102 of which were identified. All the prohibited books at the Jesuit Сollege were divided into five subgroups: 1) books of Renaissance authors; 2) books of Protestant authors; 3) books of Orthodox authors; 4) books on occultism, magic and demonology; 5) “Books of Secrets”. The first subgroup includes books of Erasmus of Rotterdam and Niccolo Machiavelli; the second one includes books of the protestant authors (Jan Hus, Martin Luther, Philipp Melanchthon, John Calvin, Theodore Beza, Jan Crell and others); the third group consists of books of Lazar Baranovych and Ioanykii Galiatovskyi; the forth one includes works of Martin Delrio, Bartolomeo Spina, Nicholas Remy and others; the fifth contains books of Giambattista della Porta and Johannes Jacob Wecker. Reproduction of the list of the books prohibited at the Jesuit College in Przemysl provides an opportunity to research the intellectual interests of clergy and the books that were used by Jesuits in the discussions with representatives of other denominations.

Наегеіїсі ргоЬіЬШ: заборонені книги у бібліотеці єзуїтського колегіуму в Перемишлі (за матеріалами інвентаря 1774 р.). Заборонених для доступу у бібліо теці колегіуму Товариства Ісуса у Перемишлі. У цій статті було використано римське видання Індексу 1758 р., здійсне не за понтифікату Бенедикта XIV, — найновіше на час укладання бібліотечного інвентаря Хмельовського (нині воно зберігається у колекції Львівського кафедрального собору Відділу рукописних, стародрукованих та рідкісних книг Львівського університету). У Перемишльському колегіумі заборонені книги (137 позицій) становили близько 2% від загального складу бібліотеки, що зага лом перегукується із ситуацією в інших єзуїтських книгозбірнях. Це суттєво відрізняло Товариство Ісуса від решти чернечих орденів: наприклад, у бібліотеках бернардинів у Львові заборонених книг було лише 3812, а в Жешуві 1913; у книгозбірні жешувських реформатів таких фіксується 1714, а ярославських домініканців — лише 815.
