The Indonesian government is committed to implementing sustainable development. Currently, infrastructure development is initiated by prioritizing sustainability with environmental preservation. This is because the earth's condition, which is increasingly fragile, meets human needs and desires. On the other hand, education is a basic need in developing humans. Therefore, the number of educational infrastructure is quite high, such as school buildings, laboratory buildings, library buildings, sports buildings and so on, which in Indonesia the construction is not evenly distributed. This article aims to provide an alternative to the problems of education infrastructure development and environmental sustainability through the use of green sukuk for education infrastructure development in Indonesia. This utilization must be based on an understanding of the environment so that projects that prioritize environmental insight will produce output in the form of Education for Sustainable Development insights for students so that environmental values are firmly embedded in maintaining the preservation of the natural and social environment.
