Abstract

In this paper, the design and simulation of graphene-based high pass filter in the terahertz band is proposed. This design is based on the transmission line model with short-circuit stubs. Optimum distributed high pass filter method is used for designing this filter with 0.1 dB band pass ripple and the characteristic impedance of each transmission line is obtained by power-current approach. The simulation results indicate insertion loss of less than 1.5 dB and constant group delay of 0.16 ps and these results make this graphene-based high pass filter a suitable choice in terahertz band.
