Abstract

This chapter analyzes the characteristics of the September 11 terrorist attack, the global financial crisis of 2007, and the COVID-19 global health crisis and discusses the importance of global governance and leadership in managing large-scale crises in the 21st century. It also compares global crisis governance, management, and leadership in democratic and centralized governance systems.
