Abstract

Dans Quodlibet I, q. 21, Duns Scot traite le probleme de l'eternite du monde ainsi que la question de la bonne chance. Il en profite pour critiquer au passage un certain aliquis qui reste non identifie jusqu'a ce jour qui affirmait que les principes du De bona fortuna d'Aristote contredisaient ceux du livre VIII de la Physique. L'A. tente d'identifier le fameux aliquis mentione par Duns Scot et Henri de Gand. Bien que Scot critique Henri de Gand pour avoir maintenu cette contradiction, il reste d'accord avec lui sur un point: la notion de chance chez Aristote entraine la negation de la volonte
