Abstract

Abstract Fe Ag granular films prepared by ion cluster beam exhibit the largest magnetoresistance (MR) in the as-deposited state, while those prepared by sputtering show the maximum MR after being annealed at 573 K. The high-resolution electron micrographs indicate that the nanometric Fe clusters in Ag matrices are crucial for the large MR.
