Abstract
T HOUGH it is known that glycogen storage disease is familial, 1-~ possibly being a hereditary recessive trait, there is a paucity of reports in the American literature of the hepatic form of this condition occurring in siblings. Reference has been made by van Creveld 2 to six proved cases and two probable cases of hepatic glycogen storage disease in siblings. However, all his reports are from the English and European literature. Crawford l~ reviewed glycogen storage disease and presented a patient with a familial incidence. The cardiac form of glycogen storage disease in siblings has been well presented by di Sant'Agnese, 4, 7 and Childs 6 and their respective associates. Following are the case histories and laboratory results of two brothers who exhibited this disease.
