Abstract

Abstract– This paper presents the development of a Geographic Information System (GIS) search engine leveraging Django, OpenLayers, MySQL, and GDAL. The application enables users to perform spatial searches and visualize geographic data interactively. This research details the system architecture, implementation process, and evaluation of performance and usability. The scope of the project encompasses the development of advanced tools for data integration, real-time processing, visualization, and the dissemination of insights derived from multiple satellite sources. By providing an infrastructure that supports the seamless flow and interpretation of satellite data, SDIS aims to enhance decision-making processes and foster innovative applications across different sectors.
