Abstract

Objective To evaluate the clinical value of ginkgolide injection in the treatment of ischemic stroke. Methods Ninety patients with ischemic stroke treated at our hospital from June, 2017 to June, 2018 were divided into a western medicine group (n=45) and a ginkgolide group (n=45). The western medicine group were routinely treated with western medicine, and the ginkgolide group with western medicine and ginkgolide injection. The changes of cytokines and blood lipid levels were observed. Results After the treatment, the levels of IL-6, MMP-9, TNF-alpha, TC, TG, and LDL-C were significantly lower and the scores of MMSE, MoCA, and ALD were significantly higher in the ginkgolides group than in western medicine group ( all P<0.05). Conclusions Ginkgolide injection for patients with ischemic stroke can effectively improve the blood lipid and cytokine indicators and alleviate nerve function damage. Key words: Ischemic stroke; Blood lipid factors; Cell factors
