There is peripheral nodular puddling of contrast material as it fills in the lesion through the interstices. (c, d) Delayed phase CT images (c obtained at a higher level than d) show progressive centripetal enhancement of the mass with a central area of low attenuation (*), a finding compatible with a fibrous scar.
