Abstract

The objective was to determine the influence of environmental management on institutional eco-efficiency in Social Security Health Hospitals. The research is of a quantitative approach, of an applied type, correlational-causal level and of a non-experimental design; for which a population of 10,000 people was taken into account; of which, through the probabilistic method, we worked with a sample of 370 people related to environmental management and eco-efficiency in the institutions under study. 94% of those surveyed consider that there is an influence of environmental management on the institutional eco-efficiency of Hospitals in the Health Sector. It is concluded that environmental management significantly influences the institutional eco-efficiency of Hospitals in the Health Sector.
