Abstract

Waste management in marketplaces, especially those generated by products like vegetables, is presented as an essential component for sustainable development and environmental preservation. This innovative approach aims to transform these waste materials into electrical energy, which brings short-term benefits such as organization in commercial premises, awareness of the value of waste, and a cleaner environment. In the long term, the generation of electrical energy from waste, waste reduction, and lower energy costs are anticipated, as well as a positive impact on environmental awareness and active community participation in more sustainable practices.
