Abstract
At the Third International Congress on Germinal Centers (1,2), we reported that germinal centers were found in lymphoid tissues as early as 3 hours after stimulation by a variety of antigens including: Gross passage A virus, Brucella abortus, bovine serum albumin, and endotoxin. As a correlate to this study, we have begun to analyze the interrelationship between germinal center formation and cellular immunity.
