Abstract
Abstract The Georgian Orthodox Apostolic Church dates back to the 4th century although there is evidence that the gospel was preached in the nation as early as the second century. Evidence relating to the spread of Christianity is found in a number of hagiographic works such as the Passion of Eustathius of Mtskheta and the Passion of Abo of Tbilisi .
