Abstract

Equations of motion and transformation laws of an on-shell SO(4)-extended de Sitter supergravity and the associated Poincaré contraction are obtained. The method is geometric: the orthosymplectic superalgebra osp( 4 4 ) is used to construct a bundle of frames with Sl(2C) ⊗ SO(4) as the structure group and with the coset osp( 4 4 )/ sl(2 C) ⊗ so(4) homeomorphic to the tangent space of the base supermanifold. Taking covariant constraints into the Bianchi identities yields a completely consistent supergravity theory.
