Abstract

The structure of 193Ir was investigated using the 191Ir(2n th,γ)_and 192Os (d,nγ) reactions. High resolution γ and internal conversion spectrometers as well as different Compton-suppressed spectrometers were used. The collective structures are interpreted within the framework of the asymmetric rotor model. The results are also compared to IBFA-1 and IBFA-2 calculations.
