Abstract

Gender Justice in the spirit of social justice is about more than simply questioning the relationship between men and women. Some of the Acts related to employment were enacted during the British period as well as after Independence. These Acts not only regulated the hours of work but also contained provisions of health, safety, and welfare of women workers and guarantee equality before the law and equal treatment to women workers.
