Abstract

Throughout the years, gender equality has been a serious issue for many developed and underdeveloped countries. Therefore, the national economies have been struggling to achieve optimal level of gender equality, in order to build a harmonized and developed society. The state institution, starting with its early phases for its proper functioning and consolidation, needed political, social and economic support to combat discrimination among all state levels. The budget participates directly in the fulfillment of the functions and tasks of the state in implementing economic, social, political, and cultural strategies and objectives, as well as ensuring the effective realization of the objectives. In his paper, the author proposed to study the structure of public expenditures of the Republic of Moldova, mainly focused on their gender analysis in education sphere. As well, there is examined the correlation between the level of education and crime.
