Abstract
Performances of amplifiers, optical isolators and power supply system which constitute GEKKO XII Module high power glass laser system are described. GEKKO XII Module was developed during 1977-1979 and its remarkable laser characteristics were already published. A lot of efforts and various attempts had been made in order to obtain high components performances. The measured data not only satisfied specifications required for system operation, but also showed that those components were fairly cost-effective. Through the development of components, the designing and manufacturing techniques for high power glass laser components were sufficiently established and are expected to give technical bases for more scaled-up high power glass laser system; GEKKO XII System for KONGOH Project.
