Abstract
The optimum configuration for gas turbine package regarding design, reliability, safety, commercial condition, and performance is addressed. The main concern is finding the solution to obtain optimum fuel consumption, low emission, and reasonable reliability. Gas turbine degradation is outlined to offer optimum condition monitoring practice. Recommendations regarding gas turbine components, arrangement, auxiliaries, performance test, and proper maintenance are also presented to cover both mechanical drive and power generation applications in process units.
