Abstract

Learning math is not an easy task and many students have difficulties in the process of teaching and learning the subject. Therefore, this project aims to demonstrate that the use of Mathematical Gamification to be a facilitator in the teaching of First Degree Equations, seeking through an online game, known as Logic Equations, to develop the understanding of the content under study. With an essentially qualitative methodology, it was planned to apply as a methodological resource an online game that develops the skills and competences necessary for the acquisition of the subject. Going against Piaget's theory, social interaction and the use of concrete materials used in the game, these sought to provide a challenging atmosphere and, at the same time, relaxation and logical-mathematical reasoning to students.
