IL The Region between Galactic Longitudes 55' and 64' Wendker, H. Abstract A section of the galactic plane between galactic longitudes 55 and 64 has been observed at 610.5 MHz with a resolution of 16 min of arc. A contour map is presented for this region. Twenty-two discrete sources were resolved from the galactic background radiation. Nine of these are point sources. The other 13 sources are extended and three of them are newly identified with faint H ii regions.
