Abstract

This paper is concerned with the problem of gain-scheduled H∞ filter design for a class of parameter-varying discrete-time systems. A new LMI-based design approach is proposed by using parameter-dependent Lyapunov functions. n k y ∈ℜ is the measured output; z n k z ∈ℜ is the signal to be estimated; m k α ∈ℜ and m k β ∈ℜ are introduced variables; s k η ∈ℜ and is allowed to vary in the unit simplex
