Abstract

This paper presents a Fortran IV software package for computeraided design of optimal continuous, sampled - data and discpete-time linear P, PI and PID controllers with quadratic performance index, based on modern high-efficient methods and algorithms. It is shown that the design of any multivariable output PID controller can be reduced to the design of an optimal PI regulator system. The design procedure is illustrated with appropriate examples.
