Abstract
TaqMan® low density arrays (LDA) is a real-time qPCR technique by which it is possible to quantitatively assess expression of various genes simultaneously on the same sample. In evaluation of muscle samples the assayed expression profiles will include genes encoding structural and functional proteins in skeletal muscle, proteins involved in activation, proliferation, maturation, and fusion of satellite cells as well as inflammatory mechanisms, thus covering broadly the field of muscle regeneration.
