Abstract
We investigate the 2 hr X-ray periodicity of the black widow system PSR J1311-3430 observed in 2018. In this study, we applied a simulation method to find the period and error, which results in 7400 ± 60 s. The period is slightly shorter and the uncertainty is slightly higher than that reported in De Luca et al. Besides, we performed a phased-resolved spectral analysis, and find that the system did not show significant spectral variability over a cycle.
