Abstract
Experimental investigations of the effects of the water-cement ratio, aggregate type and loading sequence on the fatigue properties of concrete are presented. The validity of Palmgren-Miner's hypothesis of linear cumulative damage is examined for variable loading sequences. Also, the effect of the tension-compression strength ratio is discussed. Analysis of the results is based on the fatigue equation previously proposed by the authors.
