Abstract
Days, dates, and calendars, in general, provide an interesting setting in which to practice arithmetic. Students and adults alike are fascinated by the ability to determine the day of the week on which a particular date fell or will fall. All seem interested in finding out the day of their birth and that of their parents, brothers, sisters, and, of course, their teachers.
