Abstract
During the AAPG/SEG International Conference & Exhibition (ICE) held 3–6 April 2016 in Barcelona, Spain, the SEG Women's Networking Committee (WNC) and the AAPG PROWESS Committee launched “The Rocky Road to Success: Women Beyond Geosciences” — an event aimed at discussing the hurdles associated with and, most importantly, envisioning trends and solutions for women's career paths in the geosciences.
