Abstract

Hydrogen Burner Technology (HBT), established in 1992, has developed and patented a unique method of generating hydrogen from common infrastructure fuels. This non-catalytic process, known as the Under-Oxidised Burner (UOBTM) technology, is convenient, inexpensive, flexible and virtually emission-free. Today, HBT is employing this technology to create fully integrated fuel processors for fuel cell applications. This article looks at HBT's Fuel-Flexible, Fuel Processor (F3P), a reformer technology for the 21st Century.
