Abstract

Despite extensive quantities of work with regard to reactivation of organophosphorus-inhibited and aged acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and butyrylcholinesterase (BChE), a new therapeutic solution has yet to be reached and current methods continue to rely on old oximes and management of the cholinergic crisis as the standard of care.
