Abstract

Li3PS4 shows great potential as a solid electrolyte for all-solid-state lithium batteries due to its high Li-ion conductivity and excellent mechanical properties. All-solid-state lithium batteries using the synthesized Li3PS4 electrolytes combined with Li3InCl6 electrolytes with good electrochemical/chemical stability, which acts both as the Li-ion additive in the cathode mixture and as an isolation layer to isolate the direct contact between the sulfide electrolytes and bare LiNi0.6Mn0.2Co0.2O2 active materials, deliver a superior electrochemical performance.
