Abstract

DOI: 10.1002/jssc.202200045 The cover picture shows the strategy to comprehensively analyze the bioactivity of complex herbal prescriptions via peak-by-peak cutting and knock-out chromatography. In this strategy, peak-by-peak cutting is like a pair of scissors to obtain each peak for bioactivity assay, while knock-out chromatography is like a pair of tweezers to pick out target peaks for contribution assessment. An herbal prescription of Qiliqiangxin capsule, which consists of 11 traditional Chinese medicines as shown in the picture, was taken as the research object.
