AbstractThe Digital Economy is a new form of economy that has grown rapidly in recent years, becoming a real oxymoron for more and more specialists. In this research, we aimed to make a systematic review of the existing literature in the field, to present the differences between digitization, digitalization and digital transformation and to define the Global Economy as a Cybernetic System in the Digital Age.
