Abstract
Sheldon Park is a public housing community in the northeast corner of Allegheny County 25 miles from downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It consists of 192 units of back-to-back townhouses situated on both sides of an oval road winding through the housing community. Most buildings contain four to six townhouses. The community has large grassy areas with shade trees at the front and back of each unit. In the center of the community is the Community Building, a one-story structure with a large, open activity area, a kitchen, and several meeting rooms.
