Abstract

Cavity solitons (CS) are the most promising systems in all-optical information processing for future applications. In this paper, we show that moving cavity solitons can be controlled in the cavity soliton laser (CSL) with a finite square cross section and force interaction between CSs. We simulated an array of five moving CSs that the central moving CS stopped spontaneous motions. We guess this result would be a good step towards a CS as an information bit.
