Abstract

For multiple uncertain risks faced by power system, a concept of whole process risk coordination control is proposed in this paper. Based on this concept, a framework of risk control including four stages: monthly, day-ahead, real-time and post-contingency is established. And the risk optimization model, control measures and coordination strategies of each stage are elaborated in detail. Further, a five-layer software architecture is designed and three crucial solving technologies are introduced. The preliminary implementation of the whole process risk coordination control system in a provincial power grid in China illustrated the effectiveness of the proposed framework. It can adapt to the current “open, fair and just” dispatching mode and coordinate the risk control decisions in each stage to achieve the cascading tracing and rolling control for the operating risk of power system.
