Abstract

This paper mainly describes the sensor data acquisition interface system that is implemented by open source Microcontroller Unit (MCU) soft core transplantation based on FPGA and cooperating with the FPGA to implement the calculation module to achieve peripheral sensor management, data acquisition and interaction, which is able to be used for Internet of Things (IoT) sensor data acquisition. After the sensor collects the data, the preliminary data processing operation is completed by the calculation module instantiated by the FPGA, and then the result is returned to the MCU to realize the local storage of the final data and the Ethernet transmission. The system is designed on the basis of a Heterogeneous System Architecture (HSA) which is based on an open source soft core supplemented by a FPGA. This method achieves acceleration of data processing, with strong flexibility and high portability. It can replace various sensors for data interaction of the Internet of Things system.
