Abstract

Smart Textiles In article number 2210769, Yunlu Pan, Lu Shao, and co-workers propose, a fouling-proof cooling (FP-Cool) fabric that integrates with oil/water-repellent and excellent passive cooling capacities by constructing superoleophobic Janus channels on heat conductive enhanced superomniphobic fabric. The FP-Cool fabric preserves 40% higher thermal conductivity and over 50% higher evaporation rate than conventional cotton fabrics. The FP-Cool keeps its anti-fouling and sweat-wicking/evaporation properties even after 3000 cycles of abrasion test.
