Abstract
In the present work, we investigate the anodization of Nb in a <TEX>$K_2HPO_4$</TEX> containing glycerol electrolyte at elevated temperatures (<TEX>$180^{\circ}C$</TEX>). Under optimized conditions, uniformly over the entire anodized surface, self-organized porous <TEX>$Nb_2O_5$</TEX> structures can be formed. The growth rate of highly ordered <TEX>$Nb_2O_5$</TEX> is <TEX>$1.7{\mu}m/min$</TEX> at beginning stage of anodization and the overall current efficiency is 70 %.
