Abstract

The article analyzes the peculiarities of the collective trauma of the modern war in Ukrainian society. Prospects for overcoming the collective trauma of the war in the context of patriotic education of students are determined. Forms of ritualization are singled out: through various forms of art, collective events dedicated to traumatic events, international recognition. A perspective version of the implementation of the sublimation mechanism - the formation of a modern heroic epic and myth - is described. Key topics are proposed: the Russian-Ukrainian war is a struggle between Evil and Good; actions of heroes, their exploits, love and superpower.
