Abstract

One of possible approaches to forecasting expenditures on maintenance and repair of motor vehicles is to determine their value in proportion to planned expenditures on fuel. The changes in operating conditions, in market prices for parts and fuel have little effect to the ratio between repair costs and fuel costs. This ratio changes little over long periods of time. The results of calculating the values of this ratio for a number of years for modern economic conditions of Belarus are presented.
