Abstract
The magnetization and the magnetic relaxation of YBa 2Cu 2.95Sn 0.05O y fabricated by the powder melting process method have been investigated. J c improved by the Sn addition and the magnetic relaxation obeys the Anderson-Kim model in a large range of temperature (4.5–85 K). The reason for the deviation from a ln t decay in magnetization is also discussed. It is found that the pinning potential increases with temperature.
